In Murray Lachlan Young's poem this morning on the 6 Music festival, he included a line which said: Goldfrapp, Scarlet Synth Squelch Magnificence ! I think Alison would take that.

Become the One. Anyone else hear Pale Green Ghosts with a bit of Sparky's Magic piano thrown in? 'Sit down on my stool. Put your fingers on my keys' Sorry!

And, it's gone. 16 songs total, less than the other three gigs earlier in the week.

That's that settled then. It's on Setlist.fm as being played ( not by me I would add) so I'm off to edit it out.

Haven't we done this? The world is full of different opinions. In religion, Catholics and Protestants differ in the way they approach Christanity. Sunni and Sheites differ on the fundamentals of Islam. You know what! I think they are all prob…

UR right Alex. On some sites, it adds Shiny and Warm at the end between Black Cherry and Ooh La La but the Red Button coverage does not include it so I think we can agree they did not play it. The list React010 posted did not include it, but did sa…

And, we're back. It seems as though Shiny and Warm has been cut from the Red Button rep,ATS, which is odd. 82 minutes instead of the 88 of the live broadcast. Odd ?

The money back comment was at the Sheffield gig. Interesting, we have a tendency to think everyone at a Frapp gig is a red hot fan and either on the forum or Face Mither. I don't think they are. I think we only make up 10 to 15% with the rest j…

I'm approaching my third anniversary on the forum. Still a newbie! I'm also approaching 4,000 posts. That's an average of just under 4 a day. Motor mouth ! Carpy ( @Carpathian -no longer a grazer in these fields) did 10,000 posts in …

A big letter has just plopped onto the doormat. It says that I've been awarded an ill health retirement pension as I am deemed, "incapable of undertaking any paid employment". Talk about ambivalent feelings! Now I have all the time i…

Most reviewers are damaged personalities IMHO who do that job because they cannot hack anything else. Like smallpox, should be kept in an airtight container in a secure facility somewhere.

Another lazy reviewer that has obviously not done their job and checked the back catalogue. Indecipherable lyrics, al la Deer Stop, are typical Goldfrapp. FFS, have they never listened to any Cocteau Twins? Alison frequently uses her voice as an ins…

I sent Angie the photo last night and wished her luck for the gig. I got a reply saying she had fun! Also got a like from Angie's mate Tanita Tikaram!

I can answer part of that question Serendipity. Will did indeed go around Cambridge in the afternoon. He was picked up by a cab after I spoke to him outside the Junction, which is about 1 1/2 miles from the centre, and his parting words were 'I…

@Jo_ey @kaleb20 If you like set lists, setlist.fm is the place to go. Hundreds of thousands of them. I'm familiar. I just wanted to collect them in one place that's more visually appealing. ;) Agree. I'm mainly interested on Setlist…

Missed it! Where can I watch? Go to Freeview channel 601, which is the Red button channel. They are currently repeating the whole Sparks set, so good chance the Frapp will get repeated as well during the night.

Only 17 songs. We had 18 songs at Cambridge, as you did at Oxford and Sheffield. The casualty was Lovely Head.

Facebook is comparable to a crippling human epidemic. That's all you need to know to draw an opinion between here and there. No strong views on the subject then @Gaelen?

I keep hearing from the Facebook crew that the Forum is old hat and dead but not to me ! Facebook cannot handle the multiple threads that this site has. It may have its technical issues but still the best way for fans to interact with each other.

I also like the symmetry in the band at the moment with Angie and Hazel front left and right, interchanging with being at the synth station or out strutting with the Keytar. Makes the band very fluid. Love those synth ladies ! Will is so right when …

So wierd to watch a gig and have contact with a lot of other fans at the same time, critiquing it as it develops. So lucky to have this opportunity guys to watch your favourite band on live TV!
